Can I request a journal article that you don't own?

Answer

Requesting a Journal Article

You may request any article (or book) through our interlibrary loan service.

It's easy, and there are a couple of ways to make that request:

  1. From a list of database results (for example from Academic Search Premier) you will see a link to Interlibrary Loan for articles we do not have access to.  Click on the link, log into your Illiad account and the information will be copied in for you.
  2. Start with your Illiad account and choose Request An Article.  You can then add the information about the article you need and submit your request.

If you do not currently have an Illiad account, you can set one up on the New Users page.
