Q

How do I cite a coursepack in APA style?

I am prepping for my comp exam on Saturday and we can bring materials with us. I would like to bring some of the coursepacks given by professors in past classes. Are the coursepacks considered books with the professor as the author or a compiled work?

Citing Coursepacks in APA Style

You should 'unpack the coursepack' and cite the pieces individually- ie previously published works, original unpublished material, etc are treated as they would normally be in APA.

This article explains it well: http://blog.apastyle.org/apastyle/2012/09/how-to-cite-course-packs.html
